We are confident that we can provide quality legal translations, certified, non-certified or notarially certified, quickly and at a reasonable fee.
The concept of ‘sworn’ translations do not exist in the United Kingdom. It is a concept existing and stemming from Civil law jurisdictions. There are alternative means of certification in the UK via a ‘certified’ or ‘notarially certified’ translation. It may also be that your document needs translation for use in the UK, for which a certified translation is normal. Types of certification available:
- Notarisation and legalisation
If your translated documents need to be authenticated for use abroad or, in some instance, within the UK, for example for the purposes of the Civil Procedure Rules, we can provide these services. Please contact the Notarial services department for further information.
- Certified Translations
As a Corporate Member of the ITI (Institute of Translation & Interpreting) we are able to provide fully certified translations. This is produced on MKSN Translations headed paper and includes an ITI seal.
If you need a quote or to proceed with a translation, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org and attach the documents that need translating.
Please also specify the language you wish to translate to and from, any particular certification requirements, your turnaround deadline (if there is any) and your contact details. We will respond as soon as possible.
